In der Slowakei gibt es neun Nationalparks.

Zu diesen gehören auch die Hohe Tatra und die Niedere Tatra - beides sind Hochgebirge !

Dazu kommen etwa 13 weitere Landschafts-
schutzgebiete.

Die Gesamtheit der geschützten Flächen von ca. 8800 km² das sind
18 % ( ! ) der gesamten Fläche der Slowakei.

Der Schutz der Landschaft ist für den Tourismus ein großer Vorteil.

Die Ursprünglichkeit und Schönheit des Landes bleiben bewahrt.

Trotzdem bleiben für die Touristen die besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten weiterhin zugänglich.

Für Touristen ist es kein Problem, durch Wanderungen oder wie auf dem Foto gezeigt durch die beliebten Floßfahrten im Nationalpark Pieniny sich die Schönheit dieser Natur zu erschließen.
